The Board of Training includes four elected and 5 appointed individuals; together, they are answerable for high-stage, district-wide choices that affect the direction and progress of our faculties. The Board of Training holds common month-to-month conferences, open to the public, on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held on the Authorities Heart, 600 East Fourth Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28202, unless indicated in any other case on the meeting schedule.
The board president and vp are elected from the membership at the first assembly of each calendar 12 months. April 18, 2017 – State Board of Training Does Not Support A-F Grades for Colleges. The Negotiations Committee, chaired by Board President Rick Hanley works with the Superintendent, director of human sources, business administrator, and the college district’s attorneys to reach equitable contracts with the two labor unions represented in the district.
