The Board of Education is made up of seven unsalaried residents elected to serve a 3-yr term. A board of schooling, college committee or college board is the board of directors or board of trustees of a faculty, native faculty district or larger administrative level. Board conferences are carried out in keeping with the provisions of the state’s Open Public Meetings Act (Sunshine Law).
Per A.R.S. §38-431.02 , all notices of the meetings for the Arizona State Board of Education and any of its committees and subcommittees might be posted on this website. Agendas: Prior to the Board’s two monthly conferences, agendas are ready by the Board secretary and the Superintendent of Colleges and are then reviewed with the Board president and Vice President. Half of all DCPS and public constitution students reside in Wards 7 and 8, and the State Board wants to make sure that the task pressure is representative of the town’s student population.
He begins his two-year term with the Board on May 12, and shall be sworn in at the July 12-thirteen board assembly in Spokane.
